What I do

My focus is making sure our clients get 100% of the benefit of the Sprints. Providing value runs through every job I've had.

Since 2025 I have led or supported 35 cohorts:

  • 14 Teams Sprints
  • 12 Founders Sprints
  • 5 Pharmacy Sprints
  • 2 ELLEvated Sprints
  • 2 AI Fluent Company cohorts

I have run every Teams cohort since July 2025. 299 team members have been through The 4-Week AI Leverage Sprint for Teams.

Office hours: where the Sprint turns into action

The live sessions teach the skills, and office hours are where you use them on your own work.

You bring the obstacle, idea, problem or opportunity in front of you this week. We work through it together with the same skills you learned in the cohort, until you have something you can put into action. You don't have to save your question for the next session, and you don't have to figure it out alone.

I see a direct connection every cohort: the people who come to both the live sessions and office hours are the people who finish with results. That's my observation from running them every week.

"Your answer to my questions were big unlocks for me."

How I work

Everything I do comes back to one question: how do I make this better for the client?

I start with two questions I learned from Deming. Why are you doing this? And what is the end result you want? The goal and the actual result are often two different things, so I check both.

When the same mistake shows up twice, I go find out why it happens instead of sending another reminder. There is always a reason, and people don't make mistakes on purpose. Then I build the fix once and reuse it.

AI fits right into that. It does the first draft, and there has to be a human in the middle checking it before it goes to anyone.

How I got here

I went to Kent State to become a teacher and taught for four years. While I was teaching, I met a vice president at Progressive Insurance who encouraged me to join him. I was an Operations Manager there from 1989 to 1992, trained in W. Edwards Deming's 14 Points, and ran the study that ended the 100% policy audit, the practice of checking every single policy.

Next came commercial real estate. For 25 years I ran the office of Lawrence Diversified, Inc. (Cleveland Commercial Group) in Pepper Pike, Ohio, including training the salespeople on what they had to complete to stay compliant. In 2000 I set up Constant Contact and moved our property promotions to email, which made us one of the first commercial real estate firms in Cleveland to market listings that way. I stayed until the owners retired and helped them close the business.

That gave me the chance to reinvent myself. I joined Tom at GlobalMac IT as his part-time Strategic Assistant, and I have grown with him through every venture since, into the role I have today.

Looking back, every one of those jobs would have gone faster with AI. The mindset I used in each of them, asking why, fixing the cause and building it once, is the same one I bring to AI now.

Where I am

After many years of planning and preparing, my husband and I are now traveling full-time in our RV with our two German Shepherds. Our goal is to visit every national park in the country.

We want to experience each place as part of the community, finding the best little mom-and-pop restaurants and the nooks that aren't on the main maps. We have always focused on experiencing life.
